Our Commitment
At Fanjoy, we are strong advocates for creating sustainable social change and in being transparent about our progress. Throughout our website, and in particular on our Sustainability page, you will find why what we do matters and how it helps in progressing the SDGs to create a more sustainable world for future generations.
“You can’t change the world on an empty stomach.”
– Chef Pam Fanjoy
Our Philosophy
“ADAPTABILITY INSIDE AND OUTSIDE OF THE KITCHEN” is what we’re known for – malleability, adaptability and the ability to build international flavours with local ingredients. We partner with local farmers, growers and suppliers (in Wellington County) who provide us with locally grown products throughout the year.
Our menus are seasonal and rotates at least 4 times a year, both to minimize the environmental impact of global supply chain, and to allow our customers to experience new tastes and flavours. Education and exposure to the best of our Canadian food, changing with the seasons, is at the root of eating better and THAT is at the root of better physical and mental health.
